Hello we are the Shockley’s! Keith, Marlena, and from left to right; Rebecca, Elizabeth (Libby), and Allison.

We are excited about what God is doing in our lives. God has called us to start a church is Lincoln, Nebraska. We are a young couple and feel that the Lord has something very special in store for us and Lincoln. We are looking forward to building a church for the kingdom of God and the Church of God.

I come from a background of sports and hope to use this to my advantage. I played college baseball then was drafted at the age of nineteen by the Philadelphia Phillies. I signed a contract with them to play in the minor leagues and had a blast; however God wanted me to make a decision between professional baseball and the call to ministry. I quit in 1998 to pursue the call of God.

My wife came from a background of agnosticism; her mother raised her to ignore God and have nothing to do with Him. She decided that Jesus Christ was God and she started a life of dedicated service to Him. Well needless to say, my wife has been a great blessing to me. She is very excited about moving to Lincoln and starting a church.

Lincoln, Nebraska is a booming college town. Lincoln is a town of 288,000 people, a very nice size town to build a Church of God. 78% of the citizens don’t attend church, which gives us almost 225,000 unchurched people to reach for the Kingdom.
